Rory was born and raised in Albany, Western Australia. He studied English and Anthropology at university and, as a consequence, mainly worked in cafes and kebab shops. He is married to Susan and they have four boys.
He studied theology at Moore College, and he also has a PhD in Australian church history from Macquarie University. He maintains an ongoing interest in the place of religion in Australia, the nature of secular culture, and how best to reach our context with the message of Jesus. He enjoys writing, and has written books on Union with Christ and the resurrection of Jesus.
Rory serves as the senior pastor of Prov City Church, where he has overall responsibility for the vision and direction of the church. He also has a small role providing some coaching and support for other church leaders in the Prov Network.
Amy grew up by the beach, the third of four sisters, and first learned the gospel from her parents. She taught high school students Politics and English before studying Theology at Trinity Theological College. Amy's role at Prov City is to see us equipped and enabled to serve the Lord as we serve each other and our neighbours, and to see women growing as disciples of Jesus.
Jon is married to Jessamy and they have three small kids and a neighbourhood cat who has decided to live at their house. Jon serves at Prov City as our Executive Pastor which means doing the parts of Rory's job that Rory doesn't like, and as Pastor for Maturity — focusing on how we are building one-another up in maturity as the body of Christ. In his spare time Jon does a shift each week as a hospital-based doctor.
