Rory Shiner

Rory was born and raised in Albany, Western Australia. He studied English and Anthropology at university and, as a consequence, mainly worked in cafes and kebab shops. In addition, his ministry has included pastoring, church planting, local and international student ministry and, more recently, evangelism amongst those who live and/or work in the inner city of Perth. He is married to Susan and they have four boys. As senior pastor Rory has strategic oversight of Providence Church as a whole, and carries the pastoral and teaching responsibility for Providence City.

Amy Stopher

Amy grew up in the northern suburbs of Perth, the third of four exuberant girls, and first learned the gospel from her parents. She has the particular privilege of pointing women to Jesus, spurring them on in faith and godliness. Amy taught high school students Politics and English before studying Theology, and still loves the Saturday papers.

Jon Rumble

Jon is married to Jessamy and they have two daughters, Annabelle and Bethwyn. Jon graduated from Trinity Theological College and in January 2015 began work as an Associate Pastor at Providence City Church. Jon struggles to focus on one thing for too long and divides his week between Providence and shift work as a hospital doctor on Saturdays.

Robbie Lindsay

Robbie is married to Jasmine and they have a french bulldog named Louis. Robbie has a commerce degree and worked in the finance sector before commencing studies at Trinity Theological College. He joined the Providence team in November 2015 to oversee Providence's operations and Sunday services.

Maddy is married to Ben and has called Perth home for most of her life. She trained and worked as a primary school teacher before spending a couple of years as an intern at Providence. Her week is currently spent studying theology part-time and working alongside parents and leaders in discipling the youth and children of Providence, in the hope that they grow up trusting and following the Lord Jesus.
